Chemical Exposure
48 Hours Submerged in BreakThrough Suppressor Cleaner
One of the greatest fears for any polymer part is chemical degradation. While we provide a clear list of approved cleaning solvents, we know that many of you rely on popular, well-established products in the firearms world. We specifically chose the most popular suppressor cleaning solvent—BreakThrough—to put the FTW OG to an extreme test.

The Test Parameters: To eliminate any doubt, we soaked the same suppressor used in our 1,000-round fire test in Break Through for 48 hours. For reference, this is twice the longest recommended soak time. The purpose was not just cleaning, but to observe any signs of material breakdown after excessive, prolonged exposure.

The Findings: We inspected both the polymer housing and the aluminum components. After a two-day solvent bath, we found zero signs of degradation to either the polymer or the aluminum in the suppressor. The FTW OG is tough enough to resist your favorite solvents, even when subjected to an abuse-level soak.
